Dear members,
I’m sure you now you are all looking forward to taking advantage of the lighter nights and (hopefully), better weather to spend more time with your horses. We have a range of events planned for the next few months, including our annual show which returns this year on Saturday 10th June. The schedule is attached to this email so make sure you get your entries in! We really hope to make it a fun, friendly day - so even if it’s not something you would usually try, we hope there’s a class for everyone. Come and give it a go! Please also keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates in the run up to this and other events.
Upcoming area one competitions which may be of interest to some members include; show and style jumping 2nd July Champfleurie, Bathgate.
Dressage on 9th July at Morris, Kilmarnock.
Also, horse trials on 18th June at area 2 North Allerton, North Yorkshire. Schedules for the Scottish events are not available until mid May, however, if you intend to submit an entry through the club please could you let me know in plenty of time. Show jumping starting from 70 cm and dressage from Prelim level. Even better if we have enough members who would like to form an Argyll team, then we can also begin to make arrangements for this. Please note, when entering a team, we also have to provide volunteers to help on the day of the event so get your helpers lined up!

Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th July (evenings): Sheila Thom lessons at Upper Largie fields. Limited spaces available. Contact Sheila for full details (s.maccallum345@gmail.com)
Weekend August 19/20th: Debbie Rodwell clinic at Long Walk. Cost for the weekend (2 group lessons each day) will be £90 and spaces are limited. Some stabling may be available at extra cost for those travelling. Please note that the full balance must be paid prior to the event at the time of booking, and no later than 31st July.
